If I recall there was "trouble" in the eighties, and yes, this is a surprise. However I'm not sure from where the people are obtaining the means to resist. The closest land mass is Australia and unlike in East Timor I'm not aware that Australia is encouraging Kanak resistence/liberation. But then I'm willing to be surprised as France lost most of its possessions to the Americans and Australia is a US proxy. Australia is upset with China's incursion on "its" turf in the South Pacific. France already got a kick in the backside when Australia cancelled the sub contract for an American/British arrangement.

When the combined west is governed by genocidal thieves they will turn on each other to keep their own "boat" afloat.

Ooh la la , the cheese eating surrender monkeys may be able to reinstate their lost valour, and Maricon's little chest will be puffed out.

They may yet kill some women & kids (per usual) & claim that their 'valour has been regained' a la said war crimes. But such barbarism is farcical & will not be fooling anyone; especially those who know the wretchedness of the French 'Elite.'

Appreciate this update Ahnaf. Been trying to figure out how to make money using this gift on forward thinking information. Might be a nice time to invest in a Nickel ETF? Found a decent one (I think) NICK.L

Obviously, I am not a financial advisor or anything (do your own due diligence and whatnot):

That said, lots of commodities people are saying that the supply chain for Nickel is in jeopardy given the unrest in New Caledonia.

Make of that what you will 😉

Any money to be made has already been made by folks not caught off guard by this disruption in the force.

Very True. The Whales in the market probably made quite the killing when Nickel markets got thrown into turmoil by this Uprising.

I don't disagree... that said DOOM is best savoured at the climax, rather than the peak & the denouement. At least, that is my taste when it comes to DOOM wares! 😉
