There's a small, but significant - in terms of what we do - minority of European peasants who've already taken to the hills, got off-grid and got some food in the ground.

Once the smoke clears hopefully those of us who've given the situation (of collapse) some thought can help in the spiritual, physical and political restructuring of our various homelands. Come what may, life is a gift, for which I'm deeply grateful.

But speaking of European geopolitic, there's a British-based writer (who's name I always forget!) who produces a website - The Consciousness of Sheep that I think you'll get a LOT out of. His focus is primarily economic - but in a way that makes economics interesting! Here's a link to an article I've not actually read yet that I hope we both enjoy!

I have "enjoyed" (intellectually stimulating) reading a number of your articles today. You make me think about things more from a geopolitical perspective. Sp I feel you are inviting me to climb a higher mountain and look across a broader territory to see things I haven't seen berore . . .

I am wondering if you are aware of some of the analyses coming from a resource economics perspective and whether you think they are "on the money" (term used with irony considering what "money" has become) in terms of where we are going?

Thank You for the share!

I have not heard of this specific model, so I will have to do some cursory reading to understand better what it is. Given my unfamiliarity with this matter, it will be a rather facile/simplistic view. If, however, you are ok with that & also ok with waiting for a response some days later (when I have done my readings), please stay tuned!

No hurry - take your time. The website is about resources such as fossil fuels etc - so it is very different to geopolitics etc.

But I think it is very relevant to your musing about the decline of the EU and the coming day of judgment for the "hegemon" (US "deep state").
