Energy Crisis and Blackouts Across Major Cities: Depict a darkened city skyline with only a few scattered lights visible, indicating widespread power outages. The streets are eerily quiet, with abandoned cars and people huddled around small fires for warmth. Billboards and neon signs that once lit up the night are now dim and flickering. In the distance, a nuclear power plant is partially illuminated, with smoke billowing into the night sky. The atmosphere is one of bleakness and desperation, as citizens face energy rationing and blackouts amid a worsening global energy crisis in September 2024. This scene captures the uncertainty and vulnerability of a society struggling to cope without reliable access to power.
Prolegomena: September was quite the DOOM-ful month, with Yours Truly & the Lovely Sir
welcoming a slew of amazing guests to ‘Eurabiamania!: When East Meets West,’ for your daily dose of DOOM, gloom & despair! 😊First, the eminent Sir Cleveland Blakemore (i.e.,
, writes ) graced us to discuss how governments worldwide will crack down harder on their citizenry as WW III becomes more intense.(Sir Cleveland also discussed several ways to overcome such high-tech measures using cheap, reliable, and easy-to-learn methods and materials).
The Eminent Sir
(from ) was next up, and we discussed what it takes to become a successful aggregator, cultural commentator & online Maverick in today’s troubled, DOOM-ful times.We then had the fantastic
(from ) join us to talk about DeGrowth, Deindustrialization, & Survival in the ruins of a society increasingly falling apart everywhere, at all levels.Afterward,
(from ) joined us to speak about the increase in hedonism, degeneracy, apathy & overall rot across the West, & how the DOOM cometh for the lone wolf types who worship ‘muscular individualism.’Brother
, who writes , was up next. We spoke about Class Consciousness, Old School Lefties v.s. Modern Lefties, & how Marxism is still relevant to today’s world, given that History has not yet ended…😉Sir Jamahriyyah, now known as the wonderful Sir
(check out his new project, !), finally reunited with Yours Truly & Sir to speak about what he has been up to these past few weeks & months. 😉We then discussed the current Geopolitical climate and how things are falling apart far more swiftly than we had anticipated months ago during our last two sitdowns.
Notably, we do an in-depth analysis of the ‘Israeli’ Pager attack & how such a stunt has sealed the West’s bifurcation from the rest of the world now that Western consumer goods are a legitimate security risk and will be avoided by most nations.
Brother Muhammad Bilal was up next, & we spoke about the Faustian West’s current obsession with Nihilism, Nietzsche & other dead ends. We likewise touched on building bridges between Muslims & Christians in today’s problematic climate:
Notably, we went at length over the ‘Israeli’ genocide, the coming regional war & ‘Israel’s’ defeat, & what that will mean for Muslims & Christians moving forward.
Sir Cleveland joined us again for another blockbuster episode, this time with a focus on the Third Lebanon War, one which ‘Israel’ is destined to lose, given (1) The Attrition inflicted on their forces & (2) Their lack of Strategic Depth.
Finally, the Eminent Sir Malcom Kyeyune joined your favourite DOOM-er duo to speak about how collapse is a continuous process around us, how WW III will soon be fully kinetic, & why this is the end of Faustian Man.

Two main works were also Dictated / Read Aloud by Yours Truly in September:
First up, Shaykh Naquib Al Attas’ excellent book ‘Islām & Secularism (1978, 1993),’ which goes over Modernity, the Westernization of Knowledge, & how Islām and the Islamization of Knowledge is the Panacea for said illths.
Second, we have a trilogy of essays from the Grandmaster of DOOM,
, penned in the Summer of 2015, concerning Robert E Howard’s observation that Barbarism eventually overcomes Civilization.‘The Cimmerian Hypothesis (2015),’ as the Grandmaster calls it, is more than just said observation; it is an in-depth look at why (across mankind’s history) urbanized city life is far more short-lived than its more rural, decentralized cousins.
Yours Truly also smelted some much-needed DOOM wares to mark the occasion of September 11, & the ensuing GWOT that America & vassals undertook since then.
In ‘America Lost the Global War On Terror (2024),’ Yours Truly goes over the sundry ways in which the Attrition of men, material, money & resources has all but bankrupted America in West Asia (& beyond) over two decades later.
What awaits CENTCOM & the broader American military is nothing short of a Sicilian Expedition-style disaster, given the growing weaknesses of said military, concurrent with the ever-increasing strength of state & substate adversaries.
The essay also covers why the death of ‘Israel’ is all but guaranteed, given said trends, once America & vassals are incapable of defending said Apartheid Settler Colony from the increased pressure of state & substate attacks from all sides.
Finally, September also saw Your Friendly, Neighbourhood DOOM Merchant publish analytics for the past ~3 months of my Summer Reading. 😉

Oh my, what a lot of catching up I have to do! Summer is over here on the mountain, which means lots of work for me to get on top of in the gardens, whilst also "building" (by which I mean "cobbling together") a grand chicken enclosure.
