May 2024: Monthly DOOM Review
All the DOOM wares smelted this Month by Yours Truly
An intense, apocalyptic scene showcasing a massive protest in a decaying urban center, with smoke billowing from fires, broken glass, and graffiti-covered walls, highlighting societal unrest and economic decline.
Prolegomena: While relatively ‘quieter’ than previous months (i.e., when it comes to the smelting of DOOM wares), May was significant for two primary reasons.
First, your Friendly Neighbourhood DOOM Merchant & the lovely Sir
, scheduled sundry appearances on ‘When East Meets West’ with a wide gamut of key thinkers, analysts, etc. Stay tuned, Dear Listeners & Readers!Second, Yours Truly finally breached the mythical SubStack milestone of 1,000 Subscribers! Here is the Thank You Email sent out to celebrate the occasion:

May was likewise quite a DOOM full month, one in which events took a turn which even Yours Truly failed to consider & soundly account for!
New Caledonia ‘popped off,’ & I put out a brief analytical piece on the island nation’s Geostrategic & Geopolitical significance.
America’s Long Retreat from the Sahel likewise began to accelerate, which warranted a short analytical piece from Yours Truly on the subject.
Finally, I also smelted long form DOOM in the form of looking at the New ‘Middle East’ / West Asia being shaped by Iran & frens, now that the Anglo-Zionist menace is fast retreating on all fronts in that region & beyond.
